As you know, the Michael Parsons Fine Art gallery has been CLOSED for the entire month of August while our space is being renovated.
We were tentatively planning to re-open after the Labor Day holiday, but our closure has been extended by a week due to multiple plan changes pertaining to the air conditioning ducting.
The new plan is to begin moving back in on September 6th and re-open to the public on September 14th.
The good news is that we will have air conditioning in the gallery in the future.

We want to share a couple of photos with you of the progress being made...
The renovation is really unfolding in interesting ways, and the gallery interior space is changing dramatically.
Thus far, the East wall has been removed to expand our space and a new interior ceiling arch was discovered under old sheet rock in the new wing.
The crews have also discovered the original 1922 black and white tiling under the old existing carpet.
The plan to have hardwood floors installed has been put on hold, as the building's preservation committee will be attempting to have the original tile floor restored.
