Myra Albert Wiggins (1869-1956) & Myna Ayers Russell (1884-1975)

Born in Salem, Oregon, Myra Wiggins found international success as both a painter and photographer.
Invited by Alfred Stieglitz to exhibit with the Photo-Secession, Wiggins studied painting with William Merritt Chase at the Art Students League in New York.

Myna Russell came to Oregon in 1920, working primarily as a still life painter.
She developed a colorful, Impressionist style, portraying Arts and Crafts pottery and beautiful floral arrangements.
