Demetrios Jameson (1919-1996, Oregon)

Ed. 3/15

12 1/2" x 19 3/8"

The gallery is holding a one-time event for the month of January.
We have selected a variety of 36 quality NW art works that need new loving homes, are affordable, very fairly priced, and in most cases are extremely good deals.  The gallery is consolidating the items in storage and wanting to move some wonderful works to places where they can be seen and provide enjoyment.  The selection includes works of all sizes and styles, by a variety of well-known Oregon, Washington, and Northwest artists, plus several surprises from outside the Northwest:

A double sided16th Century Illuminated Manuscript page, a Dutch still life from the early 20th century (an art mystery, as we can find no information on the artist), Eunice (Jensen) Parsons woodblock, Tom Cramer (2 brightly colored "Pop Art" oils), John Oberdorf, Hank Kowert (monoprint, and a watercolor of his Sheridan studio interior), Louis Lazare Schaff woodcuts, Kevin Kadar (figure), a painting on porcelain after Raphael's Madonna Della Seggiola, Betty Chilstrom (a classic Portland house), Mary Corita Kent, Madeleine Liepe, Charles Johnson Post, Colista Dowling (a watercolor of the circus at Oaks Park), Dorothy Dolph Jensen, Sherrie Wolf color print, Y. Matsumoto early 20th Century Japanese watercolor of Mt. Fuji, Leroy Updyke (Puget Sound sunset - oil), Amanda Snyder (2 inkwashes), Otto Fried, Shirley Gittelsohn (a still life painted as a gift for Laura Russo in 1985), Carl Morris drawing, Myra Sager Helm (student of Clyde Keller & CC McKim) Mount Hood oil, a Fred Mason Holmes "Mt. Rainier" oil from 1942, Dr. William H. Watson Fall Landscape oil from 1939 in the original painted frame, Mark Clarke "Lumber Mill" oil from 1983, and a Margaret Coe oil, "From Under" (retrospective exhibition celebrating the half-century relationship of Eugene painters Coe and Clarke currently on view in the Harold and Arlene Schnitzer Gallery at the University of Oregon Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art), and more...
