The Historic Northwest Paintings show offers an eclectic view of quality NW works. This show will appeal to many art interests. The works included consist of several romantic 19th century landscapes, touching on Northwest Impressionism, mid-century modernism, and portraiture, and ends with several more recent takes on the still life subject. The artists featured include William Samuel Parrott, Cleveland Rockwell, Charles Heaney, Harry Wentz, Nellie Starr, Dora Litzenburg, C. J. Fulton, Josephine Hayne, Sally Haley, Myra Wiggins, Louis Bunce, Rene Rickabaugh, Royal Nebeker, Vernon Witham, and others.
Gallery Closed In August For Renovation
The Sovereign building that surrounds our gallery has been undergoing a complete renovation, since January of this year.
Please pardon the scaffolding around the gallery entrance and the occasional noise and dust from the construction crew outside.
We will continue to be open during the continuing construction with our regular business hours, Wednesday-Saturday, 12pm-5pm, or by appointment thru the end of July.
The gallery will be CLOSED and vacant for the entire month of August 2016 while the our space is entirely renovated by the property management.
While the construction and closure is a hardship for us, we will ultimately have a much nicer gallery space and more room to exhibit art work, as we will be adding an additional 200 square feet.
We will be able to attend to some aspects of business offsite, and we will be checking our voice messages and email regularly.
We are making every effort to proceed with business the best we can. Thank you for your patience.
The gallery will tentatively re-open after the Labor Day holiday, on September 7th.
We will continue to update our patrons accordingly, but please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
